Veterinary Services at Elms Vets in Monmouth
CONSULTATIONS
At Elms Vets we run consultations by appointment to avoid long waiting times. This also allows us to better meet your pets needs, for example providing a dog free waiting room if your cat is very nervous!
Our consultation room is big and roomy with great access for disabled clients and seating for longer and more involved consultations.
The following clinics are seen as so important and fundamental to animal health, that we offer them free of charge. They may be run by either a vet or qualified nurse.
-
Monthly puppy and kitten checks until your pet is fully grown: This fosters fit and healthy animals who love visiting the vet and don’t see it as a stressful event.
-
After 8 Year clinics: Regular and routine health checks for animals over the age of 8 to monitor their health into older age.
-
Weight checks: Helping our pets maintain their waist lines.
-
Dental checks: Checking oral health.
SURGERY
We conduct all surgical procedures, both routine and emergencies on site in our fully equipped operating theatre.
LABORATORY
We have an extensive on-site laboratory which allows us to analyse samples - even in the middle of night if required.
DIAGNOSTICS
We have an impressive range of diagnostic facilities including:
- X-rays
- Ultrasound
- Endscopy
- ECG
